Radical far-left extremist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) committed a massive and unforgivable breach of etiquette and common decency in a December 1st retweet from Rep. Ilhan Omar when she referred to Republicans of the US House of Representatives as Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s “Ku Klux Klan caucus”, unforgivably and ignorantly conflating the GOP leaders with the early to mid 20th century Democrat extremist group.
“People truly don’t understand the scale, intensity, & volume of threats targeting @IlhanMN. Kevin McCarthy is so desperate to be speaker that he is working with his Ku Klux Klan caucus to look aside & allow violent targeting of woc members of Congress. This cannot be ignored.”

Cortez wrote this with a retweet of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who’s deep connections with the terrorist organization ‘The Muslim Brotherhood” and their long-discredited front group, “The Center for Islamic American Relations” (CAIR) are well documented, playing a ‘death threat’ she received by phone for the press.
Ocasio-Cortez, continued her deranged screed, “While people toss out clichés like “we condemn all forms of racism & bigotry,” the fact is Islamophobia is far too often tolerated and ignored. Bigotry is not made unacceptable by what one says about it, it’s made acceptable based on whether there are consequences for it or not.
It’s not just about nasty phone calls and e-mails. GOP are given freedom to incite without consequence. They don’t have to pay for the security required from their acts- we do. They make money off it. &They are targeting those least likely to be institutionally protected first.”
The caller referred to Omar as a “jihadist” and a traitor and stated she should be tried by a military tribunal. They continued to say that “there are ”plenty” of people who would like to see Omar ”removed” from the Earth.” Where Republicans and Democrats alike should roundly criticize these threats, instead Omar and AOC chose to groundlessly attempt to connect the caller to both Congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s dispute with Omar and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
Weak Attempt To Link Call-In Threats to Boebert, House GOP
GOP Members Get Worse Threats Regularly
Omar explains that the voicemail was one “we received hours after I got off the phone with Representative Boebert, after she posted her video.” so from the very word ‘go’ we’ve started with a post hoc ergo propter hoc logically fallacy, that because one event follows another, they ‘must be’ connected. Point blank: it can be fairly well guaranteed that Omar, and AOC, like Rep. Boebert, receive similar threats… daily. The effort required to find one in her voicemail that met her needs was probably negligible, she likely had many to choose from. It seems she’s very quickly forgotten about the slew of death threats Boebert received after Congressional Democrats began baselessly accusing her of conspiring with January 6th rioters who penetrated the capitol.
Boebert wrote to Rep. Sean Maloney (D-NY) after he levied this false accusation during an MSNBC interview telling him,
“Your failure to factcheck any of these lies or even talk to me before doing an interview on a national television network has resulted in my office receiving numerous death threats and hundreds of vile phone calls and emails,” Boebert’s letter read.
Rep. Sean Maloney made false and baseless conspiracy claims about me that led to death threats and hundreds of vile phone calls and emails. His comments were extremely offensive, shameful and dangerous. https://t.co/4ETahOn53n pic.twitter.com/qmmsV7u86n
