Evil, Heinous Crime Committed Against Police Puppy

In an interview with “Fox and Friend’s” Parsons Police Cheif, Robert Spinks described a heinous crime that targeted one of his own. A 3-month-old German Shepherd puppy had been stolen out of the backyard of a Parson, Kansas Police officer’s home.

The Puppy was tortured, killed, and beheaded before the corpse was thrown back into the police officer’s yard.

What this Heinous Crime Could Mean

In the interview with Fox News Cheif Spinks had this to say:

“In my 41 years as a police officer, this is obviously a very dark, evil, heinous crime,” he continued. “Not only because of the animal cruelty, which is a felony in Kansas, but also because it’s obvious that our officer was targeted. Her patrol car was parked in the driveway.”

The Parson Police Department has decided to provide a reward in the apprehension of those who committed this crime. The reward went from $1,000 to $4,000 in a matter of days as the community donated money to the cause.

In a statement released by the Parsons Police Department, Cheif Spinks said, “I cannot even describe my feelings of disdain for the person(s) responsible. I am an avid dog lover as I have made it clear to the community over the years that I have been here, I have 2 rescue dogs, one that I adopted from our local shelter. The level of cowardice that would lead someone to kill a little puppy named ‘Ranger’ is astonishing.”

“I pray that we get a chance for the judicial system to prosecute this coward and bring them to justice. We have reached out to the neighborhood to gain video from home surveillance systems in the area in order to track this despicable criminal down.”

“This is disgusting enough that it was done to an animal in our community, but when you add in that this appears to be a targeted attack on the home and personal property of a police officer, this makes it nothing more than a hate crime. I will be talking to the Labette County Attorney’s Office as well to charge it as such if we bring a suspect to light.”
