During a NATO speech, Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed that President Joe Biden was “committed” to funneling as much of American taxpayers’ dollars to Ukraine as possible before President-elect Donald Trump takes office on January 20, 2025.
In his speech at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, Blinken reiterated the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to wasting taxpayer dollars on the never-ending Ukraine-Russia war, despite the fact that both sides have already signaled a willingness for peace after Trump’s landslide election victory.
Highlighting the recent “profound and incredibly dangerous development” in the Ukraine war — which involved North Korean soldiers joining the fight on the side of Russia — Blinken argued that it was extremely important for the U.S. to continue funneling money to Ukraine.
He claimed that it was necessary for NATO as a whole to deliver a “firm response” to this development.
“As we’re working to make sure that Ukraine has what it needs to effectively defend itself, the United States continues to step up,” Blinken said. “We’ve obligated just recently and pushed out the door another $8 billion in security assistance for Ukraine – that was in September, another almost half a billion dollars just a few weeks ago, and President Biden has committed to making sure that every dollar we have at our disposal will be pushed out the door between now and January 20th. We’re making sure that Ukraine has the air defenses it needs, that has the artillery it needs, that has the armored vehicles it needs.”

This urgency to funnel taxpayer dollars to one of the most corrupt nations in the world comes after Trump won a landslide victory in the election that included securing the Electoral College majority, the popular vote, Republicans’ control of the Senate, and control of the House.
Trump has been the staunchly anti-war candidate throughout the election season, vowing to end the Russia-Ukraine war on “day one” of his presidency and arguing that the most important thing was to stop all of the deaths. Obviously, the Biden-Harris administration is more concerned with maintaining control in the region and doing whatever it can to hurt Russia, even if that means the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians.
FLASHBACK to May 2023: When asked whether he wants Ukraine or Russia to win, Trump said “I want everybody to stop dying.”
