The speaking roster for the upcoming NRA convention has been released.
Conservatives are extremely excited that Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump will finally be attending the same event.
Well, sort of.
Virtual v. Reality
While both Trump and DeSantis are featured speakers, only one of them will be doing so in person.
Unfortunately, Ron DeSantis will be doing a taped speech, so we will not get to see him face off against Trump directly.
However, we should still be able to get a feel for how much of a hold both these guys have over voters.
It will be interesting to see how well DeSantis is received in a crowd that we would hope will have equal representation between the two candidates.
NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre stated, “The 2023 NRA-ILA Leadership Forum represents a significant gathering of national leaders.
“This event underscores the importance of defending our constitutional rights and highlights the vital role of the NRA and its members in protecting freedom and liberty.
“Our high-caliber speaker lineup emphasizes the significance of preserving our freedoms.”
Randy Kozuch, interim executive director of the NRA ILA, added, “Once again, the NRA is excited to host some of America’s most influential speakers at our Leadership Forum.
“This is truly the event of the year for NRA members.
“Speakers will discuss many of today’s most pressing issues and remind all of the importance of protecting the Second Amendment.”
