California Governor Gavin Newsom is terrified to tell the truth to his constituents so he’s ducking the question. He actually managed to make a good point when forced to think fast on his feet. One which Democrats usually don’t want to hear. They aren’t listening now, either, all they want is the reparations money. Money that the state doesn’t have.
Newsom afraid to say no
Gavin Newsom knows the moment he tells all the African American citizens dwelling in San Francisco that they aren’t going to become instant millionaires, he’s going to be ripped apart limb-from-limb. That’s why he “has declined to publicly say whether he’d support reparations payments to some Black state residents.”
The task force turned in their final report on “how to mitigate injustices and discrimination stemming from slavery.” Money is the answer, they report. Lots and lots of money. Nobody seems to understand that there isn’t anywhere close to the funds required for their “bread and circus” scheme.
On Saturday, the board approved recommendations outlining “restitution that, if approved by state lawmakers, could cost billions of dollars to address historical disparities in health care, housing and policing.”
I am loving watching this miserable Liberal Prick, who promised blacks Reparations, millions of dollars all to put a vise grip on their votes & support, knowing Damn well he didn’t have the almost trillion dollars it would cost. Now he must explain to them why the money was a bad… pic.twitter.com/eORNYm97pn

Newsom didn’t laugh out loud at the proposal but isn’t rushing to get behind it either. He wants to be behind it because that’s the safest place to be but instead, he’s out in front and running for his life from the out-of-control juggernaut. “Dealing with legacy is about much more than cash payments,” the governor points out.
CNN is already going out of their way to report that Newsom may be a Democrat but he’s White. That implies that he can’t be trusted to come across with the cash. It’s already been approved so what’s the holdup?
Speaking of holdups, the armed, drug-dealing gang-bangers are the ones with the highest expectations of cashing in on reparations. The Governor showed his political skills by side-stepping a dangerous question.
Already at work
We’ll get back to the money part later, Newsom dodged. “Many of the recommendations put forward by the Task Force are critical action items we’ve already been hard at work addressing,” he explained.
His crew has been laying the groundwork for a better future by “breaking down barriers to vote, bolstering resources to address hate, enacting sweeping law enforcement and justice reforms to build trust and safety, and strengthening economic mobility.” All while “investing billions to root out disparities and improve equity in housing, education, healthcare, and well beyond.”
It’s no surprise that “federal reparations efforts have stalled in Congress.” Liberal places like California are a different story. That’s why the activists picked San Francisco for their social experiment pushing for “some US cities to atone for harms rooted in slavery – and address the racial wealth gap.”

The concept has been gaining traction since the equally engineered social media experiment called the “Black Lives Matter movement.” Newsom is smart enough to know that there’s nowhere near enough money to fund the solutions approved by the panel.
The next step for the big project is to present those controversial recommendations to the state legislature. They insist on giving each Black Californian $13,619 for each year of residency, based on 71-year life expectancy to cover “health care disparities.” They each get an additional “$148,099 or $3,366 for each year between 1933 and 1977 spent as a resident of the state.”
Anyone who’s been in jail gets “$115,260 or $2,352 for each year of residency in California during the 49-year period between 1971 and 2020.” Newsom “will continue to partner with the Legislature to advance systemic changes that ensure an inclusive and equitable future for all Californians,” he promises.
