Is anyone really surprised that Democrats got it wrong?
Dem House members have elected Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) to be their new leader.
That is clearly not who voters wanted to see running the House caucus.
Underwater to Start
After Jeffries was given the Democrat leadership position, polls started to emerge.
What they found was that Jeffries has only a 35 percent approval rating among Democrat voters.

Breitbart broke it down, “Jeffries’ favorability among the Democrats’ intersection coalition was quite low. Among independents, Jeffries held a 16-point favorability.
“That number only increased to 22 percent among black voters and 20 percent among Hispanics.
“Only 19 percent of respondents younger than 30 viewed Jeffries favorably.
“Among American women, his rating sank to 14 percent.”
Jeffries supports radical causes and is a noted election denier, which I am sure comes into play in terms of public approval.

The RNC did some research, finding that Jeffries “attacked” democracy more than 100 times.
That is the man that is now running the House for Democrats.
Should make for some very interesting confrontations in the future.
Here’s to the GOP holding the House so we never have to live through Hakeem Jeffries as the Speaker.
