Half-Baked AG Garland Issues Asinine Warning

The Biden-Harris regime’s Attorney General, the frustrated Supreme Court hopeful Merrick Garland, has committed to telling the Democrat-Socialists in Congress exactly what they want to hear. In an early May hearing the vengeful Garland like a dutiful attack dog is concentrating purely on the targets of the regime to the exclusion of all else.

Absent from the hearing were any mentions of the BLM and Antifa domestic terrorist organizations and cells, or the growing ever-present threat of Russian hackers penetrating American infrastructural systems with no consequences. No. All that Merrick Garland had time for this month was to stoke the flames of meritless panic over supposed “White Supremacist” terrorists who he imagines were embedded in the provocateurs who breached the Capitol Complex on January 6th.

According to National Review, Garland told Congress,

“Domestic violent extremists pose an elevated threat in 2021 and in the FBI’s view, the top domestic violent extremist threat we face comes from racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race,” Garland told legislators during the hearing.

Republican Senator Richard Shelby, asked whether the DoJ under Garland was exercising the same level of scrutiny over the violent unrest in Portland, Oregon, Brooklyn Center, Missouri, Kenosha, Wisconsin and other cities that burned during the 180 days of flames and violence that wracked our nation in summer 2020. But the AG would have none of it and immediately dismissed him, pivoting straight back to the illusory threat of the White Supremacist boogey-men his virtue-signaling ilk are so busy chasing… and inventing.

“We don’t care what the ideology is, violations of law are pursued and are prosecuted. I think it’s fair to say that in my career as a judge, and in law enforcement, I have not seen a more dangerous threat to democracy than the invasion of the Capitol,” Garland said.

For someone as deeply embedded in the DoJ going back to the Clinton days, who helped prosecute Ted Bundy for the Oklahoma City bombing and even worked on the 9/11 cases this is seriously troubling. Apparently an act of mass civil disobedience with a side order of trespassing and vandalism, with just a dash of clashing with Capitol Police that resulted in the death of one person only (and she was one of the demonstrators) is worse than the deadliest attack on American soil in history. Garland desperately needs to sort out his priorities.

Especially given Garland seems to have missed something major. And possibly Russia had to clean it up for them.

AG Garland went on to add, “There was an attempt to interfere with the fundamental passing of an element of our democracy, the peaceful transfer of power. And if there has to be a hierarchy of things that we prioritize, this would be the one we’d prioritize. It is the most dangerous threat to our democracy. That does not mean that we don’t focus on other threats.”

Garland Might Have Left Russia Holding The Ball

Garland uttered this while the Administration sat idly as the Colonial Pipeline was shut down and a $4.4 million dollar ransom was paid to release it as 9.500 fuel stations in the southeast ran dry. TechRepublic has reported that Darkside, the Russian hacker group fingered by the FBI for the job has disappeared underground, driven there or by choice we don’t know.

“In a message sent to affiliates, DarkSide said that it lost access to its blog, payment server and CDN servers and that its hosting panels have been blocked. The group also said that its landing page, servers and other resources would be taken down within 48 hours.”

The Feds have denied that they had any role in disrupting Darkside’s operations, however, interesting reporting now suggests the group may have drawn the unexpected ire of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s shadowy FSB or GRU. ZDNet reported that Darkside’s posts in the Russian hacker forum XSS had been removed by 7AM Moscow time Friday the 14th, shortly after press secretary Dmitry Peskov issued a statement noting Putin’s displeasure “Peskov is forced to make excuses in front of our overseas ‘friends’ – this is a bit too much,”.

This could suggest that the Colonial Pipeline hack did not in fact carry the blessing of the Kremlin and has since been dealth with harshly. Peskov later told the American press, “Russia has nothing to do with these hacker attacks, and had nothing to do with the previous hacker attacks, We categorically do not accept any accusations against us.”
