After Joe Biden made yet another destructive decision meant to further dishonor America, legendary musician Lee Greenwood is speaking out.
Joe Biden campaigned on “uniting the country,” yet he is overtly one of the most divisive presidents in history. His most recent decision proves this.
Patriotic Americans are fuming after hearing that Biden had chosen to remove legendary singer Lee Greenwood from the National Council on the Arts.
The Western Journal reports: “The singer, whose signature ‘God Bless the U.S.A.’ has been played at patriotic events ever since Greenwood penned the anthem in 1984, said he was surprised at his ouster from the panel after having been first appointed by former President George W. Bush.”
Speaking during an interview on Fox & Friends, Greenwood expressed his surprise over the decision.
“So, hearing now under the Biden administration and he’s cleaned house and finally he’s fired a patriot. I was quite shocked to tell you the truth. I didn’t get a phone call or letter. It was just an email,” he said.
On October 12th, in Huntsville, Alabama, a tribute to the legendary singer will be taking place. Perry O. Hooper Jr., chairman of the Lee Greenwood VIP Dinner which will be held alongside the tribute, was also angered over the news.
“I went from shock to anger,” Hooper said in a statement released on September 23rd. “I guess there is no room for a true American Patriot in Joe Biden’s world. From Woke Generals running the Military to the National Endowment of the Arts he wants to tear down the America we love.”
“This is disgusting. Lee’s masterpiece ‘God Bless the USA’ has become a patriotic hymn behind only the National Anthem and God Bless America in importance to the soul of our great country,” the statement said.
After Biden’s divisive decision, Hooper says that the concert now takes on a new significance.
“Once the word of this firing gets out, this sold-out event will become standing room only as Alabamians show their support for an adopted favorite son, Lee Greenwood,” he stated.
The response from conservatives on Twitter was exactly as expected: anger. Despite Biden’s claims that he wants to unite the country, every decision he has made thus far has led to more division and hate between various groups within the U.S., leaving a lot of people asking for a peaceful divorce between red and blue states, or calling for outright civil war.
