First off, in most things I do not trust Mark Zuckerberg any further than I can throw him.
Personally I feel that Facebook is a scourge upon our world that turns checking in on your family into almost a full time job with its own procedures and ethics.
I have seen people stop talking to members of their family because while they “liked” a post, they didn’t give it a thumbs up when everyone else gave it a thumbs up.
I personally have a very small circle of folks that I associate with on Facebook, and it is literally all family or close friends.
That being said, I will concede to the guy being very intelligent.
You don’t get to be as rich as he is without being intelligent to a ridiculous degree.
So, you would think that the way that he has presented himself politically that I would be against him. Actually, I kind of admire the guy and I just wish that he would change his way of thinking along social issues just a little bit.
It seems that something has finally gotten him to do that.
As we all know, there was a flood of emotions from all sides of the political spectrum following the attempt on Donald Trump’s life.
During a recent interview, Zuckerberg was asked about the attempt on the President’s life and had this to say:
“Seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most badass things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg told the outlet. “On some level as an American, it’s like hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight, and I think that that’s why a lot of people like the guy.”

As of right now, Zuckerberg isn’t endorsing any political candidate in the upcoming election.
That being said, changing your mind on someone doesn’t happen overnight. Perhaps this interview is the first step in the head of Facebook finally seeing things the right way.
