This will probably not surprise a lot of people.

The Biden administration held a multi-department remote briefing this week.

In a “new” system they were trying, reporters had to submit questions and they would be read by officials and answers, but one problem with this new system was quickly realized.

Rigged!

Because of this new format, it means that administration officials could screen the questions and toss out the ones they did not want to answer.

So, when the meeting with the Departments of Homeland Security, State, and Defense was held, guess whose question never made it to the final?

If you guessed Fox News, you would be correct.

And that would be because Fox News wanted to know about the teenager that died while in custody at a shelter for unaccompanied minors.

When it became clear they were vetting questions and tossing themselves softballs, there was immediate pushback.

Afterward, Mayorkas’ Department of Homeland Security stated they had “tried a new system for the first time in an effort of transparency to allow reporters from across the country to ask administration officials questions on the record and on camera.

“We will be addressing this system and will consider other options in the future.”

For now, they are going back to the previous format of raising hands and randomly picking reporters.

Even though many of us would question just how random that is after having seen Joe Biden’s cheat sheet on more than one occasion.
