An independent journalist, Jon Nicosia, of News Cycle Media, formerly Managing Editor at Mediaite, the Independent Journal Review, and former Breaking News Editor for The Washington Examiner managed to near single-handedly beat the brakes off of CNN last year. All the way back in August Nicosia claimed a source within CNN parent company WarnerMedia and then-new owners Discovery prognosticated the eventual termination of Chris Cuomo, stating that that the corporate overlords “very much want Chris Cuomo out. A few options are on the table.” this proved true four months later when ‘Fredo’ himself was terminated as reported December 5th. Now Nicosia and his sources have foretold the downfall of another leftist icon: Joy Ann Reid of MSNBC’s “Reid Out”, and just as before, her far-left allies are rushing to her defense, dismissing Nicosia’s reporting.
In a long Twitter thread, Nicosia reported,
“Source @ Comcast:
“Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.” – “She does not have a show come mid Spring” – The “decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings” – 1/
As was the case with Chris Cuomo at CNN, Reid has allies at Comcast, however, she is now viewed as “unmanageable” by many. Also, similar to Cuomo, it appears those allies have found out she has been “less than truthful about past incidents” 2/ (more to come).
Also, like Cuomo at CNN. Watch for MSNBC/Comcast to defend her right until the announcement.
I had the scoop last year Chris Cuomo was going to get axed by CNN and then after he was suspended got the scoop he was not coming back. I got very few personal attacks from his fans. Joy Reid’s fans, however. Lord.”

Leftist Hosts And Sites Rush To Defend MSNBC And Joy Reid
It didn’t take very long at all for Justin Baragona of The Daily Beast to jump to Reid’s defense hitting Nicosia with an Ad Hominem, referring to him as a “known con artist” clearly playing on his confession to being an ex-con working under a pen name in 2014. Baragona posted, “I would suggest waiting for more solid reporting than a single-sourced tweet from a known con artist before running wild with the notion that a prominent cable news host is on their way out.” Of course, the difference between being a “known con-artist” and writing for The Daily Beast is the ‘being known’ part.
Naturally, none other than CNN’s Brian Stelter who had white-knighted for Chris Cuomo back in August snapped that up immediately and jumped into the fray.
There's a tweet making the rounds about Joy Reid, claiming she's on the way out at MSNBC. It was brought up on "Hannity" because that show has no standards. An MSNBC rep is wasting no time in pushing back: "It's bogus." https://t.co/dVWHn02Xbp

Of course, it seems that Nicosia may have the last laugh… again… Reid’s ratings and those of CNN, in general, have been in freefall for months dating back to some Fox News reporting back in June. And Breitbart confirmed in a recent article, they wrote,
“Well, there is no question Joy Reid’s ratings have tanked since the beginning of the year. In February, The Reid Out was attracting some 2.5 million viewers. She is now down to just 1.1 million. She’s currently in sixth place among her MSNBC colleagues and in second-to-last place during MSNBC primetime — behind only The 11th Hour, which has no permanent anchor after losing Brian Williams. So it’s not hard to see MSNBC looking at Reid as a weak link and, therefore, replaceable.”

Few will truly mourn the loss of the acerbic, confirmably racist, and openly socialist grifter who just weeks ago characterized “white so-called Christian conservatives” as “special citizens” who “feel like this country was built by them for them and so everyone but them needs to suck it up and let them have their way or else.” Perhaps the most affected by this news is Fox’s Greg Gutfield, who bemoans the loss of so much valuable material.
shit…there goes a third of my material. first chris cuomo, now joy reid….if i lose don lemon, i may have to report on actual stories!! https://t.co/f3EdAJqcgL
