How Pro-2nd Amendment are your Senate Candidates? Enough to get indicted for drawing down on a rioting Antifa/BLM mob threatening their home? Mark McCloskey is. Now after the dust has settled from George Soros’ puppet, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner trying to railroad him and Mrs. McCloskey, he’s running for US Senate to represent Missouri.
McCloskey’s announcement is a welcome one after news broke that Senator Roy Blunt (R-Mo) announced his upcoming retirement and the seat stood poised to become yet another battleground to retake the Senate from the Democrat majority.
An angry mob marched to destroy my home and kill my family, I took a stand to defend them.
I am a proven fighter against the mob
When the mob comes to destroy our home, our state, our nation— I’ll defend it
I will NEVER BACK DOWN

A Complicated Senate Run For a Patriot in the Show-Me State
According to The Washington Times, the field is getting crowded. McCloskey’s newfound celebrity might be just what the party needs to clear the field.
The Times wrote,
“McCloskey enters a growing field of contenders vying to replace outgoing Sen. Roy Blunt, who announced in March he won’t seek reelection in 2022. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, who resigned the governorship on May 29, 2018, amid a sex scandal, have already entered the race, and several members of Congress, such as Reps. Blaine Luetkemeyer and Ann Wagner, have publicly expressed interest.”
Of course not everybody in the Missouri GOP is happy about McCloskey throwing his hat in. RINO, Never-Trumper and Former Senator Claire McCaskill seems a little upset about it even. She tweeted a disgusting mischaracterization of Mark McCloskey’s courageous stand against the riotous mob: “The new Republican Party in my state. The only qualification you need to run for US Senate is to wave a gun around at Black people. (See politico.com/news/2021/04/2)”
The New York Post reported that Mr. McCloskey appeared on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and laid out clearly what brought him into the race following his dramatic June 28th 2020 confrontation with the BLM Mob in St. Louis.
“I’ve always been a Republican, but I’ve never been a politician,” McCloskey said on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Tuesday. “God came knocking on my door last summer disguised as an angry mob.”
“What I’ve learned is that people out there in this country are just sick and tired of cancel culture, and the poison of critical race theory and the big lie of systemic racism, all backed up by the threat of mob violence,” McCloskey told host Tucker Carlson. “People are just sick of it. They don’t want any more poseurs and egotists and career politicians going to DC. All we hear is talk, and nothing ever changes.”
A Whole Different Firing Line for 2nd Amendment Defender
Back in June 2020 when Mark and Patricia McCloskey stood on their patio armed with a rifle and a pistol they made international headlines and were lionized by conservatives and libertarians and vilified by Democrat-Socialists and progressives. They were called “racist”, “fascist”, “White Supremacists” and every other go-to slur the left can dish out, but they held firm. Their cause was just, all they did, was stand their ground, no-one had to die that day that goodness, their home wasn’t damaged and no-one was injured. Given the highly charged emotional moment filled with mob-fueled rage and fight-or-flight instincts the two attorneys in their 60’s should’ve been lauded by everyone, instead they were falsely charged.
Despite the dismissal of Kimberly Gardner who used the case to leverage her re-election their indictment still moves forward, they were charged with “exhibiting guns at a protest and evidence-tampering.” U.S. Attorney Richard G. Callahan was appointed as a special prosecutor. Missouri Governor Mike Parson has told the press he will “certainly” pardon the McCloskey’s should they be convicted for defending their home.
The firing line they’re stepping into is a whole new animal though, should Mark emerge from the Republican Primary in 2023, the full fury of the mainstream media will once again land upon him and his family. It’s a difficult burden to bear, but at least this time, it will be by choice.
