Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) book tour was interrupted by several minutes of anti-Israel activists screaming about “children dying in Gaza” — conveniently ignoring the men, women, and children who have been murdered and kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, who control the government of Gaza.
The incident happened during a stop on Pelosi’s book tour in New York City at the cultural center 92NY, where she was being interviewed by former mainstream media anchor Katie Couric.
During their conversation about Pelosi’s new book, “The Art of Power,” anti-Israel activists began shouting at Pelosi from the crowd.
Pelosi had been discussing the inspiration behind her book, which she said was her “grave disagreement” with then-President George W. Bush about the Iraq War.
“Nancy I’m glad you disagreed with the Iraqi war, but you do not disagree —” an anti-Israel activist shouted before being interrupted by boos from the crowd, which briefly drowned out the activist.
Just a few moments later, the same activist could be heard screaming: “There’s children dying in Gaza.”
Pelosi brushed off the protest, stating: “Don’t worry about that, I’m from San Francisco, I’m used to this. They’ll get what they want, because all the press will say that I got interrupted.”
The congresswoman then pushed back by requesting that the audience join her in a moment of prayer for the safe return of the hostages who are still being held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
“Let us bow our heads for the hostages, and be prayerful about the hostages, which they never mention,” she said.

This is far from the first time that Pelosi has been heckled by anti-Israel protesters.

Despite all of the protests, she has consistently supported President Joe Biden’s policies of funding both sides of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war — which has only served to anger both sides of the aisle and both factions of the Democrat Party: the anti-Israel activists and pro-Israel activists.
Pelosi addressed her support for Biden’s policies during an appearance on Massachusetts earlier this year, stating: “He has been very concerned about a two-state solution for the region. He has been such a strong supporter of humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza.”
“We don’t want any children killed. There has to be a resolution of conflict that is not as savage as war,” she added at the time.
