I would never vote for Senator Sinema (I-AZ), but I do respect the fact she is staying true to who she is.
Sinema left the Democrat Party because she believed the party no longer represented her ideals.
Part of that is sticking up for her state over out-of-control immigration.
When the White House made an utterly ridiculous statement this week on immigration, she had no problem calling out the blatant lie.
Just Wrong
In case you missed it, Karine Jean-Pierre stated that Joe Biden had lowered immigration by 90 percent.
She claims to have data to support this, but nobody has seen it.
What we have seen is a massive surge in year-over-year numbers, as well as yet another recent surge in border numbers.
The latest was that 90,000 border crossings took place over the last 10 days.
Sinema “took offense” to the narrative that KJP was spitting out.
She added, “Obviously, the border is not secure. Anyone with eyes can see that.
“Anyone who lives in a border state like I do, born and raised in Arizona, actually takes offense at comments like that because they’re just factually not true.
“The reality is, is that border communities in my state are suffering already, and that’s before the end of Title 42.”
Sinema then made a suggestion, something I have been saying all along.
She stated, “It would be most helpful if the administration would start by actually enforcing the laws that are on the books.”
Well said, Senator.
Let’s hope they listen.
