The GOP House majority continues to uncover evidence that the federal law enforcement apparatus was potentially used against American citizens.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, recently revealed some alarming facts about FBI Special Agent Elvis Chan’s role in suppressing information ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
It appears from materials produced by Jordan that Chan provided false testimony concerning his interactions with technology firms regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop.
This is a felony according to U.S. statutes and could have serious repercussions for Chan if found guilty.

In addition, Laura Dehmlow, head of the Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) Section, confirmed that she and Chan organized a meeting with Facebook officials that was meant to discuss the Hunter Biden laptop story which had been broken by The New York Post not long before then.
However, when asked about the legitimacy of these materials, the FBI responded with “no comment”.
Dehmlow additionally stated that this response came after guidance from an unnamed representative at the agency who already knew that there were no connections between Russian propaganda and Hunter Biden’s laptop prior to The Post’s coverage.
Chan was asked again if, other than the October 14 Facebook-FITF meeting, he was “aware of any communications between anyone at Facebook and anyone at the FBI related to the Hunter Biden laptop story?”
He answered: “No.” pic.twitter.com/bwHXU9DjpC

When questioned during the Missouri vs Biden censorship lawsuit initiated by Republican Attorneys General from Missouri and Louisiana, Chan claimed to have no knowledge or involvement in any additional meetings regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop outside of what he had told lawmakers previously.
As well as this he also said he was unaware of any communications between FBI agents and Facebook concerning this story.
However, internal documents presented by Jordan proved otherwise showing there was indeed a follow up call between Chan and Facebook officials about this subject, the day after it was censored by social media platforms.
Jordan concluded pointing out these discrepancies in Agent Chans testimonies stating “Chan advised that he was up to speed on the current state of the matter within the FBI and that there was no current evidence to suggest any foreign connection or direction of leak” thus giving off strong indications as to weaponizing our own law enforcement agencies against us citizens.
