White House KJP Makes BOMBSHELL Claim

Beyond any possible rationality, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made the claim Tuesday that Americans are now saving money on gas under the presidency of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

At the White House press briefing on Tuesday, Jean-Pierre launched into a long dissertation about how great President Biden is doing on gas prices and easing the ongoing energy crisis.

Seung Min of The Associated Press began this slow, belabored descent into insanity by asking, “There are reports that the administration is considering releasing an additional 10 to 15 million more barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. And I wanted to know if you could confirm those reports. And if so, what impact do you think that release would have on gas prices?”

“Gas prices have fallen by $1.15 from their peak, which was not too long ago,” Jean-Pierre told reporters. “The ninety-eighth consecutive-day decline this summer was fastest in over a decade. Every month, the typical two-driver family saves about $120 at the pump compared to where we were in mid-June. Every day, Americans save about $420 million at the pump compared to mid-June.”

Jean-Pierre, however, somehow managed not to mention that prices at the pump were as low as $2.38 per gallon before the rise of the Biden-Harris regime and $3.53 per gallon when Russia invaded Ukraine. Oof.

“Now, gas prices are falling again,” Jean-Pierre continued. “The average retail price is down by five cents over the last week. States that saw sharper increases in recent weeks are also seeing more rapid declines.”

According to The Daily Wire, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre why the release from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve recently announced by the White House would be necessary if gas prices are trending downward as she claimed. She replied that this was to provide “a little bit of breathing room,” to the American people.

“President Biden has said for months how he is committed to doing everything that he can in his power to address Putin’s price hike,” Jean-Pierre said. “He has said this on almost every speech that you’ve heard him talk about when it comes to gas prices and what the American people are seeing and feeling at the pump. And he’s been delivering on that.”
