She Sat Dead For 3 Days in Car Outside Hospital

When 51-year-old Yvette Mooney went missing from her home in Colorado, her children contacted police for help. After attempting to call Mooney all day, her children notified police it was uncharacteristic of her to not respond to their phone calls.

And while Yvette was eventually discovered hiding in plain sight the whole time, there wasn’t a happy ending to the story.

According to KDVR, Mooney’s body was discovered in her car, which was located in a hospital parking garage. Investigators revealed that her body had been left to decompose in the car for the last three days before ultimately being found.

Now her family is demanding answers surrounding her discovery.

According to investigators, her family believes that Mooney had paid a visit to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado to see a family friend and pray with them. At the time, police had not released a cause of death.

Mooney’s family has speculated theories as to what happened to her, however they are left completely confused when considering what caused her to stay inside her car.

The hospital was contacted by police to gather security footage showing Mooney’s car parking in the garage, however it would be difficult to determine what exactly happened to inside the car due to it’s tinted windows. In fact, this may have been the one detail that prevented people from discovering her.

The hospital released this statement:

“We offer sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones. Upon discovery of the event we immediately notified the Englewood Police Department and have worked closely with them throughout the ongoing investigation.”

However, Mooney’s family rejected the hospital’s excuse and demanded changes to security policies, as they “don’t want anybody to go through what we’re going through.”

Police have yet to release any information to the public regarding Mooney’s mysterious death.
