On Monday afternoon, February 27, a homeless man sitting on a city street in St. Louis, MO was executed.

The gruesome incident was caught on video, which showed the victim being shot at least twice by the gun-wielding assailant in broad daylight.

Moments before disaster, the victim can be seen in the video sitting on a curb as a random man stands just a few feet away from him.

Then suddenly the man standing is seen pulling out a gun and appears to load it before stepping closer to the man on the curb. He is seen drawing down on the man and aiming at his head before firing…the video cuts off as the individual filming realize they’re witnessing a murder take place.

The disturbing video was posted online to Twitter Monday evening with the caption, “This was in #stl today in broad daylight. Dude executed him with not a care in the 🌍. We have a corrupt George Soros funded prosecutor and 1/4 murders in St Louis actually are prosecuted. That’s what y’all get when you vote for soft on crime democrats. This is outcome. Another black man executed where’s blm?”

The same Twitter user posted a longer video of the incident on Tuesday, which shows the homeless man shot twice, each shot ninety seconds apart.

The individual who filmed the incident called police but did not risk intervening.

Understandably, the person who originally recorded the video has been reluctant to come forward.

The report from St. Louis Post-Dispatch reads as follows:

A man was shot and killed Monday morning in downtown St. Louis by a gunman with whom he had fought minutes earlier, police said.

Police responding to a shooting call shortly after 10 a.m. in the 700 block of North Tucker Boulevard found the man shot outside, Maj. Ryan Cousins said at the scene of the shooting. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tucker was closed to traffic at Convention Plaza and Washington Avenue; the man’s body was found on the sidewalk in front of The Globe Building.

…Witnesses of the shooting told police the man was shot by a gunman after the two fought minutes earlier down the street near a Shell gas station on Convention Plaza, Cousins said. The man was chased across the street before being shot. Police have not learned what sparked the argument.

UPDATE: Police arrested 23-year-old Deshawn Thomas in connection with the murder. The incident report details that the suspect fled on foot and attempted to escape into a library before being taken into custody without further incident.
