ICYMI – The Supreme Court has finally announced when it will hear arguments for the student loan handout from the Biden administration.

Biden had been hoping for an expedited hearing on this.

They surely will not be happy to find out arguments are not scheduled until the end of February.

Going to Have to Wait

The next docket has been scheduled.

The student loan cases will be heard on February 28.

Biden v. Nebraska and Department of Education v. Brown are both centered on the student loan handout.

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, the Supreme Court will consider Gonzalez v. Google LLC. Then on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, Twitter, Inc. v. Taamneh.

These two cases are very interesting in that they are trying to hold social media accountable for terrorist recruiting.

The suits claim that people are being radicalized domestically because the social media outlets allow terrorist organizations to post recruiting videos and propaganda online.

This will be a huge test of the First Amendment in terms of social media.

Also to be heard are Dubin v. United States and New York v. New Jersey, both on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, and Abitron Austrai GMBH v. Hetronic Int. L, Inc., on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
