Supreme Court Delivers Ruling on Kari Lake Election Lawsuit

Kari Lake continues to fight the election results of the 2022 election.

And she continues to lose.

The latest defeat was to have a case transferred to the state Supreme Court.

Not Happening

In all, Lake filed 10 cases over the gubernatorial election in Arizona in 2022.

Lake has followed the Trump game plan on this front, fighting the results tooth and nail to try to have the outcome overturned.

Like Trump, she has met resistance at every level.

Newsweek reported, “Lake filed a total of 10 claims alleging that the election was stolen from her, but in December, eight of them were dismissed by Judge Peter Thompson.

“A trial in the same month resulted in the remaining two claims getting tossed.

“Since December, Lake has continued to appeal her contests, filing several.

“In March, the state Supreme Court dismissed six of seven claims brought by Lake regarding the 2022 election.

“The remaining one was eventually dismissed by an Arizona trial court in May.

“The most recent ruling by the high court on Wednesday was in response to her appeal filed on the last day of May.”

In that decision, the Arizona Supreme Court stated, “Upon consideration of the Court en banc, no good cause appears to transfer the matter to this Court.

“Therefore, IT IS ORDERED denying the Petition for Transfer.”

With the fight now just about over, Lake sounds as though she is ready to enter the race for the Senate seat that will up for grabs in 2024.

The seat, currently held by Senator Sinema (I-AZ) presents a dilemma for the Democrats.

With Sinema now an independent, the Democrats will split the vote between Sinema and the Democrat candidate, which opens the door for the GOP to steal that seat back and flip the Senate.

Lake is currently the favorite for the GOP primary even though she has not yet announced.
