One of the more controversial governors on the country just had a staff member that was forced to resign.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs won her election by following the Biden playbook.
She hid out from racist accusations and trounced Trump-backed Kari Lake.
Now her press secretary has been forced to resign over a rather tasteless tweet after the Nashville shooting took place.
Resignation, Please
Former press secretary Josselyn Hobbs thought a tweet stating, “Us when we see transphobes,” would be funny.
The post was accompanied by a GIF of actress Gena Rowlands in the movie “Gloria,” pointing two handguns.
The tweet has barely been posted when outrage blasted her social media account…
Calling for violence is NEVER acceptable@GovernorHobbs Press Sec. tweeting about shooting political opponents on the same day a trans activist shoots up a school is nothing short of vile & heartless
There is no room for this in AZ

Fire @joss_berry. Calling for violence from the 9th floor is beneath the office she is supposed to serve.

Please contact @katiehobbs' office and respectfully demand that she fire her press secretary, Josselyn Berry, who posted an inciteful meme calling for the murder of transphobes. Pray for a peaceful resolution. https://t.co/ht4FIvqjEs

Hobbs responded, “The Governor does not condone violence in any form.
“This administration holds mutual respect at the forefront of how we engage with one another.
“The post by the Press Secretary is not reflective of the values of the administration.
“The Governor has received and accepted the resignation of the Press Secretary.”
I know we have our fair share of loonies on the right, but can we please stop pretending this does not exist on both sides.
Honestly, at this point, I think the left is far worse, only the media rarely, if ever, calls them out.
