‘Trans’ Teen Arrested After Expressing Desire To Shoot Up Elementary School

A “trans” 19-year-old has been arrested and charged with a “threat of terrorism” after she stated her desire to shoot up an elementary school.

Margaret Anderson, a woman masquerading as a man, reportedly revealed in therapy that she wanted to shoot up Oviatt Elementary School in Norwalk, Iowa.

The Norwalk Police Department announced the arrest on Monday, revealing that it had been made aware last week of a “potential threat” to the elementary school and had subsequently arrested Anderson. She has been charged with a “Threat of Terrorism” under Iowa Code 708A.5 and was taken into custody at the Warren County Jail.

Warren County Attorney Doug Eichholz confirmed in a statement to The Daily Wire that Anderson was born female, identifies as a man, and goes by the name of “Maxwell.”

Eichholz further noted that the case was prompted by statements Anderson made to her therapist while undergoing “regular treatment.” As a mandated reporter, the therapist relayed those statements to the Des Moines Police Department, which then forwarded those concerns to the Norwalk Police Department, located in Anderson’s hometown.

“And then the investigation took off from there,” he told the outlet.

Eichholz confirmed that the complaint against Anderson states: “The defendant stated that she had thoughts that she wanted to take a gun to Oviatt Elementary School in Norwalk, at 11 am through the cafeteria, and shoot children.”

Anderson’s motive for the planned attack on defenseless, innocent children is thus far unclear, as the complaint did not contain any context behind her statements. Eichholz told the Daily Wire that after Anderson expressed the desire to shoot up the elementary school, she was immediately transported to the mental health facility attached to the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

After her brief hospital stay, Anderson was arrested on Monday and released on house arrest on Tuesday with restrictions that included a GPS bracelet.

When the news broke on social media, many users expressed concern about the epidemic of violence from so-called “trans” individuals.

“Transgender violence is getting out of hand,” wrote popular X user Gunther Eagleman.

Another user highlighted past violence from transgender individuals, including infamous Nashville shooter Audrey Hale, a woman claiming to be a man who shot and killed three students and three staff members at the Covenant School in March 2023.
