Transgender Dem Arrested For Threatening To Kill Trump

Authorities have apprehended a so-called transgender suspect on terrorist charges for threatening to kill former President Donald Trump at his rally at Penn State University on Saturday.

Police have charged 74-year-old Paul J. Gavenonis, a registered Democrat from Spring Township and a man pretending to be a woman, with misdemeanor counts of making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

The man was taken into custody on Friday and is being held without bail in the Centre County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania.

Law enforcement’s charging documents show that Gavenonis was arrested while trying to obtain a Penn State University parking permit on the day before Trump’s Saturday campaign rally.

He reportedly declared prior to his arrest: “I hate Donald Trump, I’d like to shoot that guy,” while making a “racking gun motion,” according to the charging documents.

The mentally deranged transgender Democrat also reportedly climbed on the roof of a tall building and shouted, “You can’t take a gun in or the students will see,” according to the university police’s probable cause affidavit.

Gavenonis was originally reported to authorities by the clerk who works the parking pass desk at the university, prompted his arrest.

During a subsequent interview with the U.S. Secret Service and university police inside the Pattee Library on Friday evening, Gavenonis allegedly admitted to threatening Trump’s life. When asked whether he had made the comment wishing for the Republican presidential nominee to be shot or whether he would personally carry out the assassination, Gavenonis reportedly said “Probably, yeah,” according to police.

“Frankly, I hope somebody would get him,” the man told law enforcement officers while he was being detained.

He also reportedly told investigators that there was a rifle in the home that he was staying in.

Gavenonis was denied bail by U.S. District Court Judge Steven Lachman during his Friday night arraignment. He is slated to appear at court for his arraignment on October 30.

This is just the latest in a concerningly long line of threats against Trump’s life, including the infamous Butler rally assassination attempt that left Trump shot in the ear, a hero firefighter dead, and two other Trump supporters wounded. A second assassination attempt against Trump was also stopped by authorities at his West Palm Beach golf course last month, and officials also reportedly apprehended a foreign terrorist inside the U.S. who was allegedly planning an assassination attempt.
