Donald Trump is taking a lot of heat for meeting with Ye and Nick Fuentes this past week.
I stated the other day that I thought the whole thing was a set-up, and it now appears as though I was right.
While still not condemning Fuentes, Trump is trying to set the record straight.

Trump posted on Truth Social to try to explain what happened.
The former president stated, “So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West), who has been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who has always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed ‘advice.’
“He shows up with 3 people, two of which I didn’t know, the other a political person who I haven’t seen in years.
“I told him don’t run for office, a total waste of time, can’t win. Fake News went CRAZY!”
If I were Trump, I would be slamming Ye for setting him up and condemning Fuentes openly.
He got set up… it happens.
But he is just taking far too long to call out remarks made by Ye as well the history of Fuentes.
