4 Dead Bodies Found in Corn Field, Farmers Shocking Discovery

Four dead bodies were found mysteriously dumped in an abandoned SUV in a cornfield in Wisconsin. The victims have since been identified, but none of them have any connection to the area.

The bodies were discovered in the field by a farmer in Dunn County, Wisconsin, but the four victims were a group of longtime friends from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

The victims have been identified as:

  • Nitosha Lee Flug-Presley, 30, female from Stillwater, MN
  • Matthew Isiah Pettus, 26, male from Saint Paul, MN
  • Loyace Foreman III, 35, male from Saint Paul, MN
  • Jasmine Christine Sturm, 30, female from Saint Paul, MN

The four friends were allegedly killed shortly after a night out at a bar.

Autopsies on the bodies, which were performed by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, show that the victims died from gunshot wounds.

CBS News reports: “Nitosha Flug-Presley, who was in the front passenger seat, had been shot in the mouth, Pettus had two gunshot wounds to the back of his head, Foreman had a gunshot wound to the face and another gunshot wound to the top of the head, and Sturm had a gunshot wound to the left cheek.”

Dunn County Sheriff Kevin Bygd spoke out about the unusual crime.

“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of these victims. I wish we could release more details of our investigation but we have to balance the public’s desire to know the details with running the risk of harming our investigation and losing evidence for building a good homicide case,” said Sheriff Bygd.

“It’s highly unusual for this area. Obviously we’ve had homicides in the last several years, but something of this magnitude— [I’m] working on my 33rd year working for Dunn County, and this is a first,” Bygd said at a news conference on September 14th.

Since the initial reporting on the murders, two arrests have been made.

On the evening of September 15th, Darren McWright was arrested in connection with the murders. McWright, 56, was a friend of the family of one of the victims, Nitosha Lee Flug-Presley. The second suspect is McWright’s son, Antoine Suggs, 38, who later turned himself in to the police in Gilbert, Arizona.

Court documents show that Suggs was seen at a bar in St. Paul, Minnesota with Flug-Presley, Sturm, and Pettus. Flug-Presley’s aunt also informed police that her niece had had a “thing” with Suggs, who would fly in from Arizona to visit her.

The criminal complaint against Suggs reveals that an employee witnessed an argument between him and Flug-Presley, where Suggs said something about “having six children and this happening every time he comes back to Minnesota.”

The victims were then seen getting into a black SUV. Suggs later returned to the area in the SUV at around 3 a.m. Police believe that the suspect murdered the four victims in St. Paul sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 3:48 a.m.

Inside the vehicle, officers found six spent shell casings and Suggs’ bloody driver’s license.

The suspect then called his father and drove to where he was staying at around 5 a.m. According to McWright, his son “snapped and shot a couple of people.”

The father then followed his son in his own vehicle, driving from St. Paul to Wisconsin, where they have been captured on surveillance videos at gas stations. In one such video, Suggs can be seen driving the SUV with Flug-Presley slumped over in the passenger seat.

McWright told police that they left the SUV in the cornfield, and he gave his son a ride back to Minnesota, but denied knowing that the bodies were in the abandoned vehicle.

Suggs faces four counts of second-degree intentional murder, without premeditation, and McWright has been charged with four counts of hiding a corpse.
