Early voting is underway and election day itself is now two weeks away.
If Beto O’Rourke was going to make a move, it would have needed to have happened by now.
Instead, he is about to become a three-time loser on a national scale.

Beto was making a nice living as a congressman in a liberal district.
His head got big, though, so he decided to take on Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).
He lost, yet he figured he had enough of a profile to run for president.
He lost, yet he figured he had enough of a profile to take on Governor Greg Abbott.
The latest polling numbers have Abbott up by nine points, expanding his lead from the previous round of polling by about two points.
I just do not see any way that Abbott loses this race at this point.
Beto, this is strike three… now go away.
