Director Wray appears to have pulled a fast one on Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) this week.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has been trying to get his hands on an FBI documents for weeks.
McCarthy believed that document would be turned over this week after talking to Wray, but guess what happened.
Embarrassing
McCarthy did the weekend media circuit last week discussing the FBI form that is believed to show a bribe of Joe Biden.
He stated that he had a great phone call with Wray, and he believed they had an agreement.
McCarthy stated, “I explained to the director that we will do everything in our power, and we have the jurisdiction over the FBI, and we have the right to see this document.
“I believe after this call, we will get this document.”
Then, when it came time to turn the document over, Wray held it back again.
Comer went ballistic, stating, “They don’t respect anyone in Congress.
“They’ve been able to get away with this for a long time.
“The media continues to turn a blind eye.
“The Senate Republicans continue to fund the FBI.
“Why would you change your business model when you’re getting everything you want.”
He is dead right, so now do something about it.
Stop playing games and charge him with contempt of Congress.
