The world was left in horror as a video from Gaza has surfaced online recently, showing the bodies of several people lying dead on a road running south of Gaza City. Reuters originally verified the video and stated it hadn’t been circulating before Friday, November 3.
It is unclear when the footage was taken or who those shown are, but there was evidence of debris and personal items scattered around them which included at least one child.
The video showed blood stains marking the road. It was captured by someone cycling down the road and speaking in Arabic as he passed by while crying “God, a child. God, women…God protect our people”.

This tragedy occurred after an attack carried out by Hamas against Israeli fortifications that killed 1,400 people according to Israel and seized 240 hostages. This resulted in Israel ordering all civilians to evacuate northern parts of Gaza including its capital city just last month with reports that some were targeted for fleeing to the south.
Health authorities in Hamas-run areas report that since nearly three weeks ago when intense air strikes began from Israeli forces 9227 people have been killed including 3826 children, an unimaginable number considering these little ones were innocent bystanders caught up in a conflict between two nations trying to find peace under such extreme conditions.
Sadly no response has yet been given by Israel’s military following a request for comment on this extremely distressing video.
This is an especially heartbreaking situation where innocent lives appear to be continually lost due to armed conflicts between two sides.
