Joe Rogan, the king of controversy himself, has decided to offer his opinion on this recent installment.
The controversial podcast host can be heard on his podcast calling Amber Heard a “crazy lady” and believes that this defamation trial is a “big win” for actor Johnny Depp.
During his recent “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, Rogan offered his thoughts and feedback on the Johnny Depp defamation suit against Amber Heard, where he mentioned Heard being a “crazy lady” and that the charges of violence she has brought against her ex-husband are “not true.”
Here’s Rogan’s remark while introducing Jessica Kirson, a featured guest, and comedian:
“I’m watching this trial, and it’s like a cautionary tale about believing in bulls**t, forming a narrative in your head like, ‘We’re rebels together. That’s what I felt like about Anthony Bourdain and his relationship to that crazy woman.”
Rogan then added, referring to Bourdain’s romance with Asia Argento, an Italian film actress, and director: “You’re seeing all the crazy come out.”
Depp has chosen to sue Heard for $50 million in addition to legal fees on the grounds of defamation and has argued that her claims of abuse she made back in a 2018 essay published in The Washington Post are false and have since derailed his career. Depp also has alleged that in fact he was the victim of abuse at the hands of Heard. Heard continues to maintain that she told the truth in her article and has chosen to counter-sue for $100 million.
Continuing on Rogan’s podcast he can be heard discussing the inflammatory claims of Heard using a specific makeup, which in reality was found not to be sold during the time of her alleged reliance on it, as well as her “fecal delivery” in Depp’s bed.
Kirson replied, laughing, “That’s crazy!”
Rogan continued on to state:
“But that’s what happens with people like that! People, that are just manipulative and full of s–t like that? [Comedian] Doug Stanhope knows her. Stanhope’s buddies with Johnny Depp. He wrote something … like a little essay about how full of s–t she is and she threatened to sue him, and I think he had to wind up taking it down.
“He knows her well … He’s like, ‘She’s out of her f–king mind.’ Like, a crazy actress!”
He went on to suggest that Depp was already at a disadvantage since he became famous in his young 20s, Rogan said:
“I don’t think you get any perspective like that, I think you’re f–ked.”
Rogan said he believes if Depp wins the case “the only good thing is everybody knows now … there’s something wrong with .
He added:
“This is a big win for Johnny Depp. And a big loss for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean!’ … You got rid of the best f–king pirate you ever had! For a crazy lady!”
While the trial is currently in its third week, there are still about six weeks remaining and we can only imagine the fascinating testimonies to come.
