Biden Regime Member Tests Positive for the Infection Even Though Fully ‘Vaccinated’

Yet another member of the Biden regime has tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated and “boosted.”

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has announced that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. Austin reportedly began experiencing symptoms while at home on leave.

The Secretary of Defense made the announcement via an email statement that was released on January 2nd, the day he received the positive test results. In the statement, he confirmed that he is fully vaccinated and that he had received his “booster” shot in October, which he claims is the reason his infection is “much more mild.”

“As my doctor made clear to me, my fully vaccinated status — and the booster I received in early October — have rendered the infection much more mild than it would otherwise have been. And I am grateful for that,” Austin wrote.

The Secretary of Defense made sure to note that his last meeting with Joe Biden was on December 21, which was “more than a week” before he began experiencing any symptoms of COVID, likely trying to assure the public that he couldn’t have possibly passed the virus on to the elderly and likely sickly man.

“My last meeting with President Biden occurred on Tuesday, December 21st, more than a week before I began to experience symptoms. I tested negative that very morning. I have not been in the Pentagon since Thursday, where I met briefly – and only – with a few members of my staff. We were properly masked and socially distanced throughout,” Austin said.

Austin also made sure to push the narrative that the vaccines work, and stated that they will “remain a military medical requirement.”

“The vaccines work and will remain a military medical requirement for our workforce. I continue to encourage everyone eligible for a booster shot to get one. This remains a readiness issue,” he said.

The Secretary of Defense isn’t the first member of the Biden regime to test positive for COVID. In November, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tested positive and was forced to cancel her plans to join Biden on a foreign trip.
