Former President Bill Clinton accidentally decimated Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign while trying to campaign for her in Georgia, creating the perfect advertisement for the Trump campaign.
During a recent campaign stop at a fish fry in Fort Valley, Georgia, Bill Clinton was heard admitting that Laken Riley — an Augusta University nursing student who was brutally murdered by an illegal alien earlier this year — would still be alive if the Biden-Harris administration had done their jobs in vetting illegal aliens.
“You had a case in Georgia not very long ago, didn’t you? They made an ad about it, a young woman who had been killed by an immigrant,” the former president said, referring to Laken Riley.
He went on to declare that Riley would still be alive if illegal aliens were “properly vetted” — before immediately launching into a desperate attempt to defend illegal immigration by citing America’s declining birth rates.
“Yeah, well, if they’d all been properly vetted that probably wouldn’t have happened. But if they are properly vetted and that doesn’t happen — and America isn’t having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that have been vetted to do work — there wouldn’t be a problem,” Clinton claimed.

Former President Donald Trump immediately seized the moment, turning Bill Clinton’s comments into a short campaign ad — simply using his words, verbatim, then adding: “I’m Donald J. Trump and I approve this message” at the end.

Riley’s murder made national headlines in February of this year, as it was easily preventable if border czar Kamala Harris had done her job. The nursing student was murdered by Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Ibarra, who “seriously disfigured her head by striking her head multiple times with a rock” and then killed her by “asphyxiating her,” according to the indictment against him. Her body was found on February 22, 2024, after she went out for a run on the trails alongside the University of Georgia-Athens campus and did not return home.
Ibarra was able to illegally enter the United States in September 2022 thanks to the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies, and was released into the U.S. interior immediately. Lawmakers like Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) have demanded answers from the Biden-Harris administration’s Department of Homeland Security about Ibarra being allowed into the country.
While speaking with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in the Senate in April, Hawley demanded to know why Ibarra was able to enter the U.S. with a criminal record, commit a crime against a child in New York without being prosecuted, and then still be allowed to remain in the country to murder Riley. Answering his own question, Hawley explained that Ibarra was encountered by U.S. Border Patrol at El Paso “and was paroled into the United States due to lack of detention capacity.”
