The FBI has arrested a far-left Washington, D.C., council member for who claimed that Jews manipulate the weather, charging him for taking part in a bribery scheme.
Trayon White, who was expected to win a third term on the council in November before his arrest, was taken into FBI custody at his “luxury high-rise apartment building” in Washington, D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood on Sunday.

According to the Washington Post, he is being accused of taking “thousands of dollars in cash” and other gifts as a bribe to ensure that certain city contracts were given to a local businessman. CNN reported that White “agreed to take $156,000 in cash for his work—or 3 percent of the contracts’ value.”
“Beginning in June 2024, White corruptly agreed to accept $156,000 in cash payments in exchange for using his position as a D.C. Councilmember to pressure government employees at Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) and DYRS to extend several D.C. contracts,” the Department of Justice said in a statement. “The contracts at issue were valued at $5.2 million and were for two companies to provide Violence Intervention services in D.C.”

Law enforcement has confirmed that White was caught on a recording with the unnamed businessman — who was acting as an informant after he pleaded guilty to federal bribery charges — asking for a cash bribe.
This arrest comes just a few months after Washington, D.C.’s campaign finance office fined White a whopping $40,000 after audits uncovered discrepancies in his financial records, with roughly $59,000 unaccounted for in his campaign funds.
White’s career as a politician has been filled with controversy, as he is famous for his bizarre claim that Jewish bankers control the weather around the world so that they can “own” the cities.
“Man, it just started snowing out of nowhere this morning, man. Y’all better pay attention to this climate control, man, this climate manipulation,” White said in a video posted on his Facebook page in 2018. “And D.C. keep talking about, ‘We a resilient city,’ and that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”

White also claimed on a separate occasion that Jewish bankers “control the World Bank, as we all know, infusing dollars into major cities.”
“They really pretty much control the federal government, and now they have this concept called resilient cities in which they are using their money and influence into local cities,” he claimed.
In an attempt to fix his image, White attended the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum — but left the tour early and made several factually incorrect and bizarre statements, including arguing that Nazis were “protecting” a German girl who was paraded through a street in Norden with a sign stating: “I am a German girl and allowed myself to be defiled by a Jew.”
Even after these shocking comments, White won his primary in June by around 1,800 votes. He also received around 11,000 votes when he ran for mayor in 2022, placing third in the race.
