C-SPAN Coverup EXPOSED

C-SPAN executives have been sparring with staffers on the House Judiciary Committee. For some strange reason, they don’t want to cover something important to conservatives. It’s starting to look like the public funded media outlet is Deep State sponsored.

C-SPAN censoring conservatives

C-SPAN has a lot in common with their sibling entities NPR and PBS. All are public funded and they all lean unashamedly left.

The official public videographer exclusively assigned to cover the goings on in Congress suddenly decided they don’t want to cover some hearings. That doesn’t seem as fair and unbiased as the public deserves.

It’s not fair that a publicly funded media outlet can unilaterally decide to act as a “gatekeeper” to protect the public from information which might be detrimental to the ruling regime. As New York Post reports, “C-SPAN is under fire over accusations of lefty bias for declining to air two consecutive hearings held by the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee.

One of them is set for Monday, April 17. That’s the one “expected to shed light on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s decision to indict former President Trump.

Judiciary committee staffers have been having “tense exchanges” with C-SPAN honchos. Fox got a good look at the emails. Besides Monday’s hearing, the publicly funded network ducked out of covering “a February hearing held in Yuma, Arizona, that focused on border issues.

They were standing in solidarity with Democrats who boycotted the event at the last minute. This time, they don’t want the public hearing about all the violent crime surging in Manhattan.

Don’t have the resources

C-SPAN assignment desk manager Jon Kelley’s words are going to come back to haunt the network the next time they go to Congress groveling for more money. Despite the money Congress gave them to cover important hearings, they “don’t have the resources” to send a camera crew to New York.

He specifically typed out, “I wanted to reach out to you as soon as I could to let you know that we won’t be able [to] send a crew to cover the House Judiciary field hearing on Victims of Violent Crime in Manhattan on Monday.

He knows it looks as fishy as if he had handed over a dead salmon. “I know it is making a lot of news and we did look at possible coverage but we just don’t have the resources at this time.” C-SPAN was all set to send a crew to Yuma, and had the resources for that.

They just didn’t have any Democrats to put on the cameras to deflect the truth. That’s because all the Democrats knew they couldn’t do that. Suddenly they can’t get to Manhattan.

When the committee heard the lame excuse, a staffer replied, “are you all serious? It’s the biggest hearing in Congress that I can think of.” Kelley was quivering as he pecked back, “I just wanted to let you know as soon as I could,” with his thumbs. Back before February’s border hearing, “C-SPAN congressional editor Robb Harleston told committee staff in a Feb. 14 email it would not cover the hearing because ‘we’re concerned about the absence of Dem members.’

They obviously aren’t there to cover the facts or the truth, they were only going so they could cover Democrats. Chairman Jim Jordan has an observation. “Democrats are going to be there at this hearing [in Manhattan]. I don’t know why C-SPAN wouldn’t, but I think it just shows their bias.
