CNN Loses AGAIN

CNN Chief Marketing Officer Allison Gollust, whose illicit affair with disgraced Former Network President Jeff Zucker led to his downfall and contributed to the accelerating implosion of the leftist outlet, has resigned. The announcement came at the conclusion of an internal investigation that fatally incriminated Gollust along with Zucker and the compromised brother of the corrupt, Fmr. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, former anchor Chris Cuomo. Cuomo’s downfall has been extremely costly for the Democrat-Socialist propaganda organ after it became brutally apparent that Chris Cuomo was working to politically safeguard his brother as serious allegations arose that his actions during the COVID panic led to the negligent deaths of tens of thousands of New York Seniors and years of systemic sexual harassment in his office simultaneously came to light.

According to The Daily Wire,

“Jason Kilar, CEO of CNN parent company WarnerMedia, announced the findings of the CNN investigation and Gollust’s resignation in an email to employees on Tuesday evening. The investigation, performed by an outside law firm, concluded that Gollust, Zucker, and Cuomo violated company policies.”

“Earlier today, Allison Gollust resigned from CNN following the conclusion of the Company’s investigation into issues associated with Chris Cuomo and former Governor Andrew Cuomo,” Kilar wrote.

“Performed by a third-party law firm and led by a former federal judge, the investigation was comprehensive and definitive. It was commissioned in September and concluded this weekend, which now allows me to share additional information with you. Based on interviews of more than 40 individuals and a review of over 100,000 texts and emails, the investigation found violations of Company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo,” He explained.

ImageCNN’s own Brian Stelter dropped the memo directly onto Twitter without commentary on the catastrophic downfall, nay decapitation of the network that Ted Turner built.

In his “Reliable Sources” newsletter with Oliver Darcy the two posted that

“CNN’s parent WarnerMedia is girding for a potential lawsuit by Chris Cuomo, who was fired from his 9 p.m. time slot in December amid multiple controversies.

Any lawsuit in a case like this would air dirty laundry. And the potential of a suit may explain what transpired on Tuesday night.”

They further explained, “This was the key sentence in the memo: “Based on interviews of more than 40 individuals and a review of over 100,000 texts and emails, the investigation found violations of Company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo.”

So Kilar is specifically referencing the newsroom’s standards and practices guidebook. Zucker’s resignation memo referenced his failure to disclose his romantic relationship with Gollust, a violation of business conduct, not news standards.”

CNN Coming Apart At The Seams As Gollust And Cuomo Cry Foul

Allison Gollust publicly commented on the release, condemning Kilar, WarnerMedia’s statement tonight is an attempt to retaliate against me and change the media narrative in the wake of their disastrous handling of the last two weeks. It is deeply disappointing that after spending the past nine years defending and upholding CNN’s highest standards of journalistic integrity, I would be treated this way as I leave. But I do so with my head held high, knowing that I gave my heart and soul to working with the finest journalists in the world.”

Chris Cuomo’s spokesman Steven Goldberg also reportedly told Stelter,

“It is clear this was never about an undisclosed relationship. As Mr. Cuomo has stated previously, Mr. Zucker and Ms. Gollust were not only entirely aware but fully supportive of what he was doing to help his brother. The still open question is when WarnerMedia is going to release the results of its investigation and explain its supposed basis for terminating Mr. Cuomo.”

Mr. Zucker has been oddly silent following the release of CNN’s statement.
