The latest headache for U.S. Attorney David Weiss is a prosecutor in his office with a conflict of interest. Assistant United States Attorney Derek Hines has links to a Biden family mole who’s been burrowing around behind the scenes in the Just Us Department, Louis Freeh. The Chinese paid Hunter and Joe Biden quite well with the understanding their informant would keep an eye out for anything interesting.

Prosecutor friends with the mole

It really helps to have a mole who pals around with a prosecutor working your criminal case. When word was announced that Hunter Biden would be handed a get out of jail free card, on everything from writing hookers off on his taxes to child pornography, conservative Americans were shocked.

Merrick Garland and Hunter’s lawyers are hoping to get the deal rubber stamped by a judge on July 26. Everyone else is screaming bloody murder to put that on hold until congress can take a good look at what happened.

One good reason to get an extension is because the LinkedIn profile for prosecutor Derek Hines lists close ties to Louis Freeh. He thought that would be good for a reference, considering Freeh is a former director of the FBI with a solid career in the bureau. Hines proudly worked “as Special Counsel to ex-FBI Director Louis Freeh at Freeh Group International Solutions.

That, in turn, is described as “a lobbying and ‘risk management‘ consultancy that teamed up with Hunter on overseas business currently under scrutiny by lawmakers.” Hunter called him “One Eye” in an email to his Chinese associates who paid more than a million dollars for Freeh’s services.

Freeh also reportedly “worked with Hunter on a $3 million job consulting for a Romanian criminal, a deal that is allegedly now part of his federal criminal investigation and is being investigated by Congress.

It looks to some heavy duty Senators like Wisconsin’s Ron Johnson that the prosecutor could be compromised.

Integrity of whole investigation

Senator Johnson is hopping up and down about the “DOJ’s apparent unwillingness to remove any doubt about conflicts in the Hunter Biden case.” That, he insists, “calls into question the integrity of their entire investigation.

A prosecutor taking friendly advice from someone on the payroll of the defendant isn’t exactly kosher. “These types of connections to the Biden family pose significant conflicts that must not be ignored.

We already know from emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop that the Biden family “had a close relationship with Freeh.” The relationship dated back to when prosecutor Derek Hines worked for Freeh.

Back in 2014, Freeh put out a press release describing “Joe Biden and his son Beau as ‘dear friends‘, and in a May 2010 email to a colleague Hunter said Freeh was ‘a close friend.‘”

In December of 2014, Freeh was one of the names on a short list “as a ‘strong contact for possible referral/collaboration‘ with Hunter and his brother Beau in an email laying out their plans for a ‘Biden Law Group‘, written by Beau’s former Delaware Attorney General deputy Ian McConnel.

After Beau died in May 2015, “Freeh became a board member of the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children.” It looks like he’s using his connection with the prosecutor to protect one of Joe Biden’s children.
