Dem Leader Admits It…We Knew Long Before

It was never about “infrastructure”, but we already knew that didn’t we? And he just couldn’t keep his mouth shut about it. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told the press that the US would be on track to meet its “Climate Goals” in the next ten years through measures in the two “infrastructure” bills being pushed via reconciliation in Congress. This perfectly illustrates what Republicans have said since day 1, these so-called infrastructure bills are nothing but vehicles for the Democrat-Socialist agendas of wealth-redistribution, critical race theory-driven reparations, and of course: the green-new deal and great reset agenda.

According to OANN,

“Schumer said in a letter to fellow lawmakers that climate measures in the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and a $3.5 trillion bill will achieve emissions reductions of about 45% by 2030. Actions being planned by the Biden administration and states including New York, California and Hawaii would help hit the 50% target, he added.”

“The bottom line is this: we have very little time to prevent the most horrendous outcomes for our children and grandchildren,” Schumer said in the letter. “But if we act now and act boldly, we can mitigate the worst effects of climate change and own the 21st-century clean energy economy.”

The ‘Green New Deal’ Is “Infrastructure” According To Leader Schumer

Schumer is touting two portions of the “wider bill”, (which is code for: “Unrelated partisan pork rammed into an unrelated bill”) which are according to Reuters the “the Clean Electricity Payment Program (CEPP) and the Senate Finance Committee’s tax package on clean energy and vehicles.” The CEPP sets up a regime of incentives and punitive fines to coerce electric companies to convert to wind, solar and nuclear power from coal, gas, and oil, just one step down from mandates which would essentially nationalize power generation.

The “tax package” would serve much the same function of choosing winners and losers with tax breaks applied for “for clean energy and clean transportation fuels” and revoked for oil, gas, and coal producers which would cost hundreds of thousands of American jobs in some of the hardest-hit areas of the country: Appalachia, the Gulf States, the Shale Oil fields of the Dakotas and Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.

This perversion of the BUDGET reconciliation process cannot be permitted to stand by Republicans in Congress, they must filibuster this action into oblivion for as long as necessary. If the Democrat-Socialists are permitted to do this, they will use this mechanism to permanently render the minority party in Congress MEANINGLESS. It is the very definition of winner-take-all politics and is an irrevocable escalation toward open Civil War.
