The Democrats have a rather large problem on their hands.
A candidate that was expected to hold down a seat in the Virginia legislature just had her world turned upside down.
Susanna Gibson has been outed for performing with her husband on a sex site and asking for tips.
Just Nasty
Governor Youngkin has been making a big push in the state legislature to get it turned over to Republican control.
He is now facing a split Congress, so he has been having problems getting his agenda passed in the legislature.
So, Youngkin has been pounding the pavement in competitive districts, and Gibson happens to be running in one of them.
She seemed like the perfect candidate, and had been backed by the top Dems in the party, then a scandal broke.
It was revealed that she was using the site “Chaturbate” to earn some extra cash, only asking for tips was against the site’s policy.
Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) and Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) had both endorsed her, but now they are quiet as a church mouse…

Currently, the GOP controls the House by four seats, but they are down in the Senate by five.
This was a crushing blow to Virginia Democrats, who are now forced to either stand by Spanberger or identify a new candidate for her district, and they only have two months before the election to do so.
