Democrats USED and ABUSED Our National Guards, Now The Democrats Will Have to Fend for Themselves

Democrats USED and ABUSED our national guards, now those same democrats will have to fend for themselves as troops withdraw from the Capitol. On Thursday, US Capitol Police officials ordered the National Guard soldiers resting in congressional office buildings to vacate them immediately. The soldiers were sent to rest outside and in nearby parking structures in near-freezing weather, even for a National Guard deployment that’s a bit rough.

Politico reported,

“The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops, the person said. Temperatures in Washington were in the low 40s by nightfall.

“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” the Guardsman said.”

Former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany expressed her outrage on Twitter at Democrat’s repeated slights to our military.

Congressional Republicans Respond to National Guard Outcry

The response from Republicans was brutal and  immediate. Senator Dick Durban (R-Ill) said, “Well, I don’t want to go out on a limb but let me say this, whatever blockhead in the United States Senate decided that the National Guard has to sleep in the parking garage should be sleeping in the parking garage themselves tonight,”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy chimed in on twitter,

Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) called the move “unconscionable & unsafe” and also demanded accountability.

OANN has reported that,

“It’s unclear who gave the initial order, but some Republicans are pointing the finger at Nancy Pelosi who has remained silent on the issue. Meanwhile, several state governor’s have ordered their troops to return home.”

Local Tallahassee affiliate WTXL has confirmed that Florida Governor Ron De Santis has ordered the Florida National Guard troops deployed in DC to return to base.

Sen. Inhofe Incensed, Wants Public Accountability

Senator James Inhofe said that he’d spoken with the Army chief of staff and the acting chief of Capitol Police about the situation.

“So this is what happened. There was one uniformed police offer who issued who issued an order without authority or going through the chain of command. I’m glad the Capitol Police are trying to figure who it was. We will identify who that person was and make it public.”

The US National Guard issued a statement after the controversy was resolved with the troops being allowed to return to the Capitol Building shortly after midnight Friday morning.

“Brig. Gen. Janeen Birckhead, Inauguration Task Force Commander confirms that troops are out of the garage and back into the Capitol building as authorized by the USCP (U.S. Capitol Police) Watch Commander and the troops will take their breaks near Emancipation Hall going forward.”

And Now The Democrats Can Do Without The National Guard

Democrats haven’t seemed to embrace the presence of the National Guard in the capitol which ironically their leadership called for, needlessly.

Stars and Stripes reported,

“Gen. Army Gen. Daniel Hokanson, the chief of the National Guard Bureau, said Tuesday during a news conference at the Pentagon that the reduction of troops in Washington is “conditions based.”

“After the inauguration, we’ll look at the conditions, and the environment and the mission set that we’re asked to perform. And if that is below the number of personnel that we have, then we’ll start identifying those folks to get them home as quickly as possible,” he said.

Once those 15,000 troops leave Washington, more than 10,600 Guard members will still be in the city, according to the National Guard Bureau.

Some local and federal agencies are asking for some troops to stay to help with additional support and “recuperation time for their forces to regroup,” according to the National Guard. About 7,000 troops will stay to help through the end of January.”

At the worst possible moment

In the next few weeks, the National Guard will draw down the number of troops in the Capitol from nearly 30,000 to about 7,000 going into the 2nd Impeachment of President Donald Trump. The impeachment that will annihilate any hope of ‘unity’ that Joe Biden spoke of in his inauguration speech, and only serve to incite tensions further.

Interesting isn’t it? By baselessly impeaching Trump for “incitement” the democrats may themselves incite violence and by failing to respect the troops they called on to defend the Capitol they may leave it vulnerable at the worst possible time.
