What is happening at the Southern border of the United States is disgusting and we only have Joe Biden to blame! Just The News is reporting that U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations agents are on track this fiscal year to arrest the greatest number of illegal foreign nationals with criminal convictions in recorded history.

Border Patrol detentions of gang members and weapons seizures are down significantly. However, this isn’t necessarily a good thing as a former border chief claims those numbers have dropped because there are far fewer agents in the field, especially between ports of entry.
At this time the majority of people with criminal convictions who are being caught are arrested at ports of entry. This fiscal year to date, OFO agents encountered more than 15,000 people with criminal convictions. This is up from around 6,500 in the 2021 fiscal year. In the 2022 fiscal year, they apprehended nearly 17,000.

Just the News reports that “Among them, agents arrested 8,452 identified in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) compared to 10,389 arrested in fiscal 2022 and 5,929 arrested in fiscal 2018.”
The NCIC is the national database law enforcement officers use to share information.
Border Patrol agents have also encountered 9,244 illegal foreign nationals with criminal convictions or who are wanted by law enforcement this fiscal year alone. That’s in comparison to 2,438 encounters with criminal noncitizens in 2020, and 12,028 in 2022.

However, it is reported that BP arrests of noncitizens with outstanding wants or warrants are down significantly. In the 2019 fiscal year, under the Trump administration, 4,153 people were arrested in this category, the most in the past seven fiscal years.
However, that may sound good on paper, the truth of the matter is the fact that those crossing our southern border outnumber and outmaneuver the brave men and women who are trying to secure it. Sates like Texas have called in the National Guard and even have state troopers doing “tours” along the board.

But the numbers are devastating when you realize that far more get past law enforcement in the areas between guarded entry points than we can rightfully estimate. A majority of which are gang members, human traffickers, and their victims, and many more who have criminal intent.
