Kamala Surrogate: Constitution Just A ‘Little Piece Of Paper’

Kamala Team Vows to ‘Reimagine’ American Constitution

A top campaign surrogate for Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris has declared that the U.S. Constitution is just a “little piece of paper” and vowed to “reimagine” it.

Kelley Robinson, who serves as president of the radical leftist Human Rights Campaign (HRC), made the shocking comments during an event held on the first day of the Democrat National Convention (DNC). Her comments received very little attention until they suddenly went viral this week on social media.

The event was billed as a discussion about “how defeating Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda rests on the engagement of the LGBTQ+ community” — which is already a ludicrous subject considering Trump is in no way affiliated with the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025.

During the ridiculous event, Robinson admitted what many people already believed was true — Democrats want to do away with the Constitution.

“We can’t just worry about protecting democracy,” the Harris campaign surrogate began. “In this moment, we’ve got to reimagine it with people that look and love like us at the center.”

“And I think for us right now it’s about imagining freedom and this American story in a way that is more revolutionary than what our founders actually put down on that little piece of paper but instead is the type of democracy that is by and for all of the people of this country. That’s the opportunity that we have,” Robinson added.

Of course, Robinson and her allies on the far left ignore the fact that the Constitution is already written for all Americans regardless of their immutable characteristics and sexual orientations. They are willfully ignorant of this fact or perhaps their motivation is more sinister — as Democrats past actions and statements clearly demonstrate their desire to reshape the United States in their authoritarian vision, with an emphasis on protecting their allies and persecuting their opposition.

Robinson also spoke on stage at the DNC last week about her ardent support for Harris’ presidential campaign, where she suggested that Harris and the Democrats are progressing “towards freedom.”

“The story of America is the story of progress towards freedom,” the Harris campaign surrogate told the crowd. “In just a few generations, my family went from being enslaved in Mississippi to the first free black family in Muscatine, Iowa, to now preparing to elect President Kamala Harris.”

“Progress is happening, my friends! Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, they are champions for LGBTQ+ freedom, y’all!” Robinson added.

Robinson’s attacks on the Constitution prompted widespread backlash on social media, with users warning that electing Harris would inevitably lead to the dismantling of the Constitution, just like her campaign surrogate envisioned.

“God help us. DO NOT elect Kamala. Please,” wrote CEO Bill Mitchell.

Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam posted a fiery rant on X about Robinson’s comments, pointing out that he and his fellow soldiers have bled for an died for the Constitution that she so happily attacks.

“That ‘little piece of paper’ called the Constitution that @HRC_President Kelley Robinson referred to in this racist, Marxist speech is something I have bled for, my friends have died for and is the founding document that ensured slavery would end and opportunity for all people to strive would exist. Accept the Constitution, but don’t think for one second you’re going to change it. The only thing that needs to change is your woke revolution that needs to walk its a— right off a steep cliff and never come back. Time for you to accept that no one cares about your gender, color or your fake struggle of accepted. Treat everyone moralistically,” he wrote.

Others argued that Robinson and those who agree with her should move to a country that doesn’t have a Constitution to protect its citizens, which appears to be their goal for the United States.

“These people should have nothing to do with shaping America. Best they should find another country without a Constitution,” one user wrote.

“I don’t understand why they don’t just move to North Korea or China, where their vision of a ‘perfect society’ already exists,” another user wrote.

“THIS is what an ignorant person looks like. She has zero respect for what the Founders did for this country and gave their lives. Go to another country and tell us in a year about that little ‘piece of paper,’” another response read.
