Donald Trump just got some great news, at least for the primary race.
GOP voters, according to a new CBS News poll, could care less about the indictments.
If anything, the indictments are driving more voters to support Trump.

This is unlike anything most of us have ever seen in the political world.
Legal problems usually have voters running for cover, but not this time.
Trump has managed to convince his supporters that these attacks against him are attacks against them.
It is driving support to him in record numbers for a primary race.
Trump is now over 60 percent, with the only real candidate that can even think about having a chance being Ron DeSantis.
That, however, will not happen as long as this field remains large.
For DeSantis to have a shot, he would have to be heads up against Trump, but based on the numbers Trump is pulling right now, even that would not matter, even if DeSantis were able to pull every vote now going to other candidates.
And that is not going to happen.
My best guess is that most of the Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy votes will head to Trump, with the rest of the field’s votes going to DeSantis.
That would still have DeSantis down about 3:1, so he clearly has a lot of work to do if he hopes to get back into this race.
That starts on Wednesday night’s debate, but without being able to attack Trump directly, I am just not sure how much damage he or anyone else can do to Trump right now.
