Former British Prime Minister Admits Trump Was RIGHT

During a series of interviews this week, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson admitted that former President Donald Trump was right — under his leadership, the United States projected strength that stopped Russia from taking any actions against Ukraine.

Trump has repeatedly stated that the ongoing wars and instability around the world would not have happened under his leadership — including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the horrific Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, China’s ongoing hostility toward Taiwan, and the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.

In one interview with Times Radio earlier this week, Johnson declared that Trump’s assertion was “credible.”

“I happen to believe that when Donald Trump says that had he been President in 2022, there would have been no Russian invasion of Ukraine,” Johnson said. “My view is that is a credible assertion. I really do think that’s credible.”

In a different interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, Johnson went into detail in his praise of Trump’s strong foreign policy victories.

“He stood up to Bashar Al Assad, the Syrian dictator,” he said. “He bombed him when he used chemical weapons — chemical weapons against his own people. Donald Trump hit back and Assad never used chemical weapons again. We talk about Iran. Trump took out Qassem Soleimani, the head of the IRGC Quds Force. Iran really went quiet after that.”

“And when it came to Putin, a lot of people say Trump is a big buddy of Putin,” Johnson added. “Well, I didn’t see that when I was foreign secretary. I saw Trump expel 60 Russian diplomats after they poisoned some people as you may remember, [when] the Russians poisoned people in our country with chemical weapons, with Novichok.”

The former British prime minister also highlighted Trump’s decision to provide Ukraine with Javelins, which are powerful shoulder-fired missiles, during his presidency — giving the country the weapons it used to prevent Russia from rapidly taking over the entire country.

“Everybody says he’s friendly with Putin, I don’t see that,” Johnson said. “He gave the Ukrainians those shoulder-launched Javelin missiles, which were very important to Ukraine in the defense of Kyiv and routing Putin’s troops. So I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I have hope that Trump will, if Trump is elected, if Donald Trump is elected, that he will be the strong president overseas that I saw.”
