Once again, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is stepping up to the plate to try to rectify the situation at the border.
If you already thought he used every trick in the book, think again.
He had one more card, and it was a doozie.
Abbott invoked the “invasion clause” to try to stop the bleeding at the border.
One More Move
Abbott announced this on social media this week.
In part, he stated, “I invoked the Invasion Clauses of the U.S. & Texas Constitutions to fully authorize Texas to take unprecedented measures to defend our state against an invasion.”
The first Texas bus of migrants has departed for Philadelphia.

Abbott is now taking just about every measure possible to limit how many illegal immigrants get over the border.
Let me ask the obvious question, however.
Will Joe Biden try to use this to his advantage if Abbott is successful?
Think about it… they just forced Chris Magnus to resign.
Mayorkas is before Congress telling them that he is doing everything to change this, even though we know he is not.
But, if migrant numbers go down by say 30 percent over the next month or so, does he say, “see, we are listening!”
With Trump just having announced that he is running for president, it would not surprise me one bit to see Biden do that.
