The ink on all the new government business cards hasn’t even dried yet but hang on tight because here we go. His Wisdom, Imperial Leader Joe Biden, has unleashed his action team on the Supreme Court. He’s attempting to manipulate SCOTUS with arbitrary arguments.
Biden over-rides Supreme Court authority
The Imperial Leader is already attempting to intimidate the Supreme Court into rubber stamping Obamacare. The Justice Department, acting under Imperial Decree, announced that the clock has been turned back so the new regime can have a do-over.
It seems that the fair and impartial lawyers working for Donald Trump’s Justice Department had it all wrong when they argued that Obamacare is unconstitutional. The new lawyers have a different opinion.
Last fall, the Supreme Court heard arguments in a case started by Texas and other conservative states challenging the acts legitimacy under the Constitution. A decision is pending but His Wisdom has declared it’s no longer needed so everyone can just forget about it and go home.
The new lawyers at the Department of Injustice are hoping for a chance to at least re-argue the position. They sent a letter to SCOTUS on Wednesday, putting them on notice.
Under Imperial authority, the DOJ doesn’t have to humbly ask the highest court for anything. They “notified” the justices that the “United States no longer adheres to the conclusions in the previously filed brief.”
Uncle Sam changed his mind so that’s that. Those deplorable Trump lawyers didn’t know what they were saying when they “called on the justices to strike down the entire Obama-era health law”
The individual mandate
The whole dispute hinges on the core concept of Obamacare, forcing each and every American to buy health insurance whether they could afford it or not.
In 2017, Congress eliminated the penalty for not having health insurance, making the issue a moot point. Even so, the mandate itself is still officially considered unconstitutional by the court.
Before Biden was installed as Governor of North Central America, the Trump administration took the view that if the core concept of the law is invalid the whole law is invalid.
His Wisdom is hoping that the Supreme Court will let him walk that back. It’s crucial to Biden’s plot for recycling the old law instead of starting from scratch on one that might actually work.
Not only that, whether the court approves his reversal or not, he’s already started signing people up for Obamacare.
He’s sad that so many of his Imperial subjects “lost their jobs and the health insurance that goes with them because of the coronavirus pandemic.” We’ll have single payer in full swing faster than you can say the magic words “Open Societies.”
