IDF Retaliates Against Gaza After Rockets Fly Toward Israel

According to the Jerusalem Post, Palestinian Terrorists fired surface-to-air missiles at Israeli Air Force helicopters. This was during airstrikes against targets in the Gaza Strip after rockets had been fired toward central Israel.

Rockets Flying Everywhere

Multiple reports confirm that in a Hamas-run district, operatives fired SA-7 missiles, as well as numerous test rockets toward the sea. Terrorist groups from the Gaza Strip have fired surface-to-air missiles towards Israel platforms in past operations. None have caused any damage so far, including the most recent attacks this past Saturday.

The IDF confirmed The Jerusalem Post’s reporting on the attack. They also released information that the missiles used were Soviet-designed SA-7’s. These are shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles that are designed to target aircraft flying at low altitudes.

Saturday morning two rockets were launched from the Hamas run Gaza Strip but fell into the Mediterranean sea off the coast of central Israel. Reports claim the rockets were heard in the cities of Tel Aviv, Holon, Bat Yam, and Rishon Lezion.

“The strike followed two rocket launches that were identified from the Gaza Strip toward the Mediterranean. The rockets fell off the coast of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. According to protocol, no sirens were sounded and no interception took place,” the IDF Spokesperson said in a statement.

Peace in the Middle East

Israel has offered many peace deals with the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, which have been rejected. The Terrorist organization would rather garner the sympathies of left-leaning news outlets around the world by using women and children as shields as they launch missiles at Israel.

Hamas is. a recognized terrorist organization that will not stop until Israel is irradicated.
