In-Fighting Begins to Shape the Democrat Party

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the Biden-Harris regime’s budget Czar has been embroiled in a long and increasingly ugly bout of party in-fighting with Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) de facto the most powerful man and woman in the Federal Government. Sanders struck a new low-blow on October 15th when he took out an Op-Ed in the Charleston Gazette-Mail the most prominent newspaper in his home state of West Virginia. Sanders wrote an appeal to West Virginians that was chock-full of promises of taxpayer-funded largesse and easy-money along with his standard efforts to stoke a soviet-style class war in America against “multi-billionaires” (first it was millionaires & billionaires until Bernie became a multi-millionaire… so now we’re up to ‘multi-billionaires’ huh?)

Sanders plainly called Manchin out implying that he is in thrall to “big money interests and wealthy campaign contributors” and that a majority of the American people support the $3.5 Trillion leftist spending spree. Even though they assuredly don’t by a very wide margin “71% oppose the Biden package if it includes more taxes and debt.” which it objectively does according to a Convention of States Action poll.

The admitted socialist wrote,

“I believe that now is the time, finally, for Congress to stand up for working families and have the courage to take on the big money interests and wealthy campaign contributors who have so much power over the economic and political life of our country.

Poll after poll shows overwhelming support for this legislation. Yet, the political problem we face is that in a 50-50 Senate we need every Democratic senator to vote “yes.” We now have only 48. Two Democratic senators remain in opposition, including Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.

This is a pivotal moment in modern American history. We now have a historic opportunity to support the working families of West Virginia, Vermont and the entire country and create policy which works for all, not just the few.”

Senator Manchin Was Not Amused, The Fracture In The Democrat Party May Be Irreparable

The bush-league move was clearly not a welcome one.  Manchin must’ve found Sander’s attempt to appeal directly to his constituents a bit galling because his response was immediate and harsh according to Politico.

“This isn’t the first time an out-of-stater has tried to tell West Virginians what is best for them despite having no relationship to our state.”

“Millions of jobs are open, supply chains are strained and unavoidable inflation taxes are draining workers’ hard-earned wages as the price of gasoline and groceries continues to climb. Senator Sanders’ answer is to throw more money on an already overheated economy while 52 other Senators have grave concerns about this approach,” Manchin said, firmly siding against Sanders and the Biden-Harris regime and with Sinema and the fifty Senate Republicans.

This is definitely one of those cases where a dishonest effort to leverage someone to your side merely serves to drive them further away. Mark the date and time, any hope of Sanders and his Democrat party radicals winning over Manchin were pronounced dead on 5:04 PM EST October 15th, 2021 the second an editor at the Gazzette-mail clicked “publish”.
