Netanyahu Reveals Response To Biden’s Threats Over Invading Rafah

Israels Response to Biden Abandoning Them

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed what he told President Joe Biden in response to his threats to abandon Israel if they were to invade Rafah in search of Hamas leaders and the remaining hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7 terrorist attack.

Channel 14, an Israeli news outlet, reported that Israel was prepared to stand alone if the Biden-Harris administration abandoned them in their effort to eliminate the Hamas terrorist group.

According to Netanyahu, during the secret meeting with government officials, “Biden called me and said: Prime Minister Netanyahu — you will be left alone.”

The Israeli prime minister reportedly responded by stating: “We will do it alone.”

He further explained that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had traveled to Israel to relay additional threats just two days after the conversation with Biden, revealing that Blinken had told him that the U.S. would stop sending weapons to Israel if the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) invaded Rafah.

“We will fight with our hands and nails,” Netanyahu reportedly responded.

Netanyahu also noted that the American government’s estimate that “20,000 people would be killed in Rafah” if Israel invaded ended up being completely wrong, calling the prediction “a total disaster.”

Israel’s invasion of Rafah ended up being a strategic success despite the Biden-Harris administration’s fearmongering and its threats. The incursion led to numerous Hamas members being eliminated, including the terror group’s leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed while hiding in a residence in Rafah last month.

While Netanyahu has explained his battle with the Biden-Harris administration, he appears to be happy with President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory and the potential for better relations with the U.S. under a second Trump administration — calling Trump’s victory “history’s greatest comeback” in a post on X.

“Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America. This is a huge victory!” Netanyahu added.

According to the Times of Israel, Netanyahu told his cabinet in a meeting on Monday that Israel’s ability to interfere with Iran’s nuclear program would be “reevaluated” under the Trump administration. Trump’s cabinet thus far appears to be much more pro-Israel than the current administration, including the soon-to-be Secretary of State, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Trump’s pick for U.S. Ambassador to Israel, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R).
