One of the more popular Marvel superhero movie stars found out life is not a movie set.
Jeremy Renner suffered several severe injuries and massive blood loss from a snowplow accident.
He was airlifted to a hospital where he is now listed in critical but stable condition.
Horrible Injury
Renner is also the star of “Mayor of Kingstown.”
He is very much down to earth, which is probably one of the reasons his fans love him so much.
When news of his injury hit social media, everyone was devastated.
Renner’s office confirmed the injury, stating, “We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023.
“He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.
“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.
“They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
Local police also reported the injury, stating, “At approximately 9:00am on January 1, 2023, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada.
“Upon arrival, Deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital. Mr. Renner was the only involved party in the incident.”
