White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre loves to hide behind the term “active investigation” to avoid talking about Joe Biden’s corruption.
She uses that same line to avoid talking about Biden’s ties to all things Hunter Biden.
The media thought perhaps recent text messages from Hunter Biden that were revealed would change that, but KJP is still holding the line.
The difference… the media is fed up with being shut out.
No Answer
This all started when White House National Security Council John Kirby blatantly refused to answer any questions put to him about the texts.
So, when KJP took the dais for her briefing, the pressure continued via an outlet that we are not used to confronting this administration.
The New York Times’ Peter Baker when after KJP very aggressively.
He stated, “Can I follow up on that? So Kirby wouldn’t answer James’ question though, are you gonna answer the question?
“It’s not an unreasonable question to ask when the president of the United States was involved, as this message seems to suggest, in some sort of coercive conversation for business dealings by his son, is that something, if he wasn’t maybe you should tell us.”
KJP responded, “I appreciate the question, I believe my colleague at the White House counsel has answered this question.”
The New York Post’s Steven Nelson fired right back, “No, you didn’t [answer], yes or no, was the president involved in the shakedown attempt?”
KJP, clearly agitated and defensive at this point, responded, “Steven I just answered the question….it’s not up to you how I answer the question.”
It is taken far longer than I had hoped, but the media is clearly becoming fed up with the lack of transparency, especially when it comes to KJP and how she avoids any and all difficult questions about Biden’s corruption and his ties to Hunter’s business deals.
The house of cards has not quite fallen down, but the wind has it shaking for sure.
