Guilfoyle Issued a Subpoena After This Happens

Former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle was issued a subpoena Thursday by the “Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol” hereafter referred to as “Nancy Pelosi’s b/s hyper-partisan witch-hunt” or the witch-hunt for short, after she walked out on an interview with them when they violated the conditions she set for her voluntary appearance.

They Broke Her Conditions, So She Walked

Guilfoyle asserted that the committee broke her conditions while she appeared at an interview concerning the Jan. 6 event via teleconference on Feb. 25. She told the press that they had agreed to have no committee members present for the interview and that they had leaked news concerning the meeting to the media.

The committee refuted that they had actually made that commitment or that they had leaked to the media.

On Thursday, Committee Chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS) revealed why the committee was requesting her statement in a letter Thursday.

“Ms. Guilfoyle met with [former President] Donald Trump inside the White House, spoke at the rally that took place before the riot on January 6th, and apparently played a key role organizing and raising funds for that event,” Thompson said.

“Because Ms. Guilfoyle backed out of her original commitment to provide a voluntary interview, we are issuing today’s subpoena that will compel her to testify,” he added. “We expect her to comply with the law and cooperate.”

The letter continued groundlessly claiming that Guilfoyle told one rally coordinator that she had actually  “raised so much money for this. Literally one of my donors Julie at 3 million,”  which they said was actually a reference to Julie Fancelli, a financial backer of the Save America Rally.

Guilfoyle left “The Five” on Fox News to participate in a pro-Trump super-PAC in the 2018 midterm election and eventually became engaged to the President’s son Donald Trump Jr.

On Wednesday, the faux committee/witch-hunt outlined an outrageous “possible criminal case” against Trump as well as his attorney John Eastman, accusing all of them of attempting to defraud the U.S. and trying to reverse the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
